Last week, our company was represented by Mr. Ciprian Dan COSTEA, PhD, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, at two extremely important business events, within the Asian economic mission.
Between the 23rd and the 25th of November 2018, there was held in Dubai the International Business Conference, organized by ADAM Global – the world’s largest and most effective network of networks business organization. The event was organized under the patronage of the Royal Family of Dubai, United Arab Emirates and the presence of Mr. Ciprian Dan COSTEA, PhD, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of AUTONOVA, was the result of the personal invitation addressed by Dr. Tahir Akhtar – Founder and Chairman of ADAM Global, Mr. Khalid Akhtar – ADAM Global Group CEO and Mr. Mohsin Ali – ADAM Global CEO.
The International Business Summit was an occasion of interaction with leaders from international corporations and from the diplomatic and administrative areas from Middle East, Asian, European and African countries, with international businessmen, managers and members of the board of directors of different global entities.

Together with the discussions on the development and internationalization of businesses in the context of current economic globalization, there have been addressed issues regarding future developments, including: the opportunities that globalization brings to medium-sized companies, the impact of Brexit on Britain’s and on the European economy, economic developments in Asia and Africa – two continents that will dominate international business appeal in the future.
A relevant moment was the visit to the Sobha Hartland project, a new urban development project started in Dubai that will include modern sustainable urban development and life quality concepts.
During the conference, in the presence of the Expo 2020 Dubai management representatives, there were revealed the development stages connected to this global exhibition project. Expo 2020 Dubai will represent a new chapter of relevance for the international economic evolution as a result of the project’s scopes and of the concepts that are prepared for this world exhibition that will take place in Dubai between 20th of October 2020 and 10th of April 2021.
On the last day of the International Business Conference organized by ADAM Global, we visited the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. We had the opportunity to understand the vision for the development of this Emirate. The presentation of the economic policies for attracting investments was realized by Mr. Ramy Jallad – CEO of the Economic Zone of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah – RAKEZ and Mr. Izzat Barakat – CCO of the Economic Zone of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah – RAKEZ. The visit also included meetings with companies located in RAKEZ Industrial Park.
For the second component of the economic mission, Mr. Ciprian Dan COSTEA, PhD, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, traveled to Taipei, Taiwan, where he honored the invitation to attend the events related to the Taipei General Managers’ Meetings, which took place on the 28th and the 29th of November 2018. Along with an international presence, there were marked meetings with business leaders from various countries, among which: Mr. Jai R. Patel – Panga Kenya; Mr. Martin Bjoerno – Fortress Auto Taoyuan; Mr. John Graham – Magnum Car Panels Great Britain and Taiwan; Ms. Bahar Cilek – Stadler Rail Management; Mr. Steven Lin and Mr. CK Leong – Special Assistant to the President of the Howard Plaza Group.
The participation to these global economic events represented a new stage in the implementation of the international vision and the desire to diversify the businesses of AUTONOVA, as strategies assumed for the development of our company.
